Black River woman charged with DWI, leaving the scene of property damage accident

DEXTER, NYDeonna G. Hairston, 32, of 124 N. Main St., Black River, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 3:00 a.m. Sunday at Brown and Water streets in Dexter with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident operating a vehicle on a suspended registration.

A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Deputies did not provide her BAC.

She is summoned to appear Aug. 28 in Hounsfield Town Court.
