Carthage man stuffed bacon into his pants, exited store without paying, Watertown police say

WATERTOWN, NYKirk R. Guyette, 36, of 222 State St., Apt. 401, Carthage, was charged by Watertown police at 8:05 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at Save-A-Lot, 1851 State St., with petit larceny.

He is accused of stealing 3-pounds of bacon worth $10.47 when he stuffed the merchandise down his pants and exited the store without attempting to pay at about 12:36 p.m. Nov. 14, police said.

He is summoned to appear Dec. 5 in City Court.
