The fish was released unharmed. Tom Stoffel, Theresa, caught this 41-inch pike on Cranberry Lake on May 14.       Veronica Neff, 8, and Nicholas Neff, 11, Black River, spent Mother's Day fishing on Black Lake. All fish were released back into the lake. Nolan Doxtater with his first perch of the year, caught May 12 at Cedar Point Campground. Nicole Smith caught a sucker at the high wall in Dexter wile fishing with her dad and brother. Sully Moles, left, and Nick Foster, both from Syracuse area, with walleyes caught on Oneida Lake on May 12.  Tye Doxtater with a giant perch he caught May 12 at Cedar Point Campground. Burnie Haney, Calcium, caught this 10 lb. Drum in Chaumont Bay on May 13 using a rattle bait. Peter Bleau and Don Crist of Chipewwa Bay fished with Kevin Legg of Plessis and caught five browns and a whitefish out of Stony Creek on May 14. Aurora Baty caught this pickerel in Dexter on the Black River. It was her first fish ever and she now wants to go fishing every day. Cody Benner with a 14-pound, 29-inch brown trout caught in Lake Ontario on May 6 in Henderson.  Landon with his first fish (with help) out of Lake Ontario. Caught in Rays Bay, Henderson on May 5 and weighed 11 lbs.  Nick Webb holds a 20lb first cat caught with Eric Scordo.       Jordan, Hutch, Les, Jacob and Father with a limit of crappie caught on March 18.  John Eves, Copenhagen, caught this 31 inch northern pike on Feb. 11 while fishing on Perch Lake. William Green, Henderson, with a 12.5 pound walleye caught on May 7 in Black River Bay. Ryan Huchzermeier, 8, Chaumont, caught this bass while fishing behind his house. He caught this using a worm, and it was the largest catch of the day! Ron Hunter, Redwood, Kevin Legg, Plessis, and Don Crist, Chippewa Bay, with a mix of salmon and browns caught off Oswego on May 7. Ernie Brown, Point Penninsula, opening day in Three Mile Bay with walleyes 8 and 7 lbs. Jason Collins caught this 20lb monster cat on Thursday, May 3, on Lake Ontario with Robert Raymond Perkins manning the net.  Alexander Driver, 8, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, caught this massive carp on the creek at the family cottage near the Stony Creek Boat launch on April 11. It took him over 10 minutes to reel it in! Grandpa John Zehr and Grandma Debbie Zehr of Henderson are so proud! Paul Shepard, Black River, in Keys near Key West, Fla., on April 2. Elijah Bleu Vitullo, right, fishing in the Black River, Dexter, on March 11, caught this male steelhead on a worm.
