WATERTOWN, NY — Charles L. “Jake” Pickett, 63, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the Samaritan Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey E. Smith officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. A calling hour will precede the funeral at the funeral home beginning at 1 p.m. Friday.
Born Nov, 3, 1955, in Watertown, a son to Robert Sr. and Delia (Morin) Pickett, he was educated locally and worked as a laborer at various North Country establishments.
In his spare time Jake enjoyed scrapping and collecting.
Surviving are his siblings: Robert Jr. (Terri) Pickett, Kenneth Pickett, Mary Lee Pickett, all of Watertown; and his nephews: Robert “Bob” Pickett, Nicholas Pickett. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
