SACKETS HARBOR, NY — Daniel A. Davis, 52, of Sackets Harbor, died Sunday, May 27, in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, from injuries following a motorcycle accident.
His funeral service will be noon Saturday, June 2, at the Piddock Funeral Home, Inc., Adams. Burial will follow in the Smithville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, at the funeral home.
Daniel was born June 12, 1965 in Watertown, NY, son of Harley E. Davis Sr. and Katherine A. Samson. He attended South Jefferson Central School.
Dan was a self employed D.J and ‘Dan’s Karaoke & D.J.’ was widely known.
Surviving besides his mother Katherine A. Davis, Sackets Harbor; is companion Shelley A. Paris, Sackets Harbor; two sons Daniel A. Davis Jr., Watertown, Jordan Barney, Adams Center; two daughters Amanda Hockey, Dexter, Shawna Biccum, Seneca Falls; several grandchildren; two brothers Wayne Davis, Sackets Harbor, Harley Davis Jr., Sackets Harbor; four sisters Gail Koe, Ellisburg, Penny Snow, Dexter, Trudy Bendixen, CT, Debora Zehr, Henderson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father.
He loved being with family. His hobbies included hunting, fishing , and helping wherever he could. He was an avid NY Giants fan.
Dan had a favorite sayings ‘ IT IS, WHAT IT IS” and the song “Hunting Fishing and Loving Everyday “
