CROGHAN, NY – Gary D. Genito, Jr., 38, of the Erie Canal Road, Croghan, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018.
Born Oct. 3, 1980, in Lowville, the son of Gary D. and Sherry L. (Bacon) Genito, he attended school at Lowville Academy Central School.
He was a self employed laborer and handyman.
Gary loved spending time with his children and enjoyed camping, fishing, and swimming.
He is survived by his two children, Gary D. Genito, III, and Courtney A. Genito; his parents; five sisters, Christie M. Bacon, Jamie L. (Patrick Turck) Genito; Kelly M. (Shawn) Garrison, Heather L. (Matthew) Young and Michelle M. (Dustin Pierce) Michael; a grandmother, Joyce Genito; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gary was predeceased by a grandfather, Dewey Genito, and maternal grandparents, Maturon L. “Tory” and Evelyn Mae Bacon.
Calling hours for family and friends will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Sundquist Funeral Home.
