Gillibrand nominates student from Fort Drum for the United States Military Academy

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, today announced her nomination for a candidate from the North Country to the United States Military Academy, one of the nation’s leading service institutions.

“I am honored to nominate Hannah Bajakian to the United States Military Academy. She is a dedicated and talented student who has demonstrated exemplary leadership abilities, an outstanding academic record, and a passion to serve our nation,” said Senator Gillibrand. “Our service academies cultivate top-tier officers who bravely protect our nation, and I look forward to Hannah’s successes as she furthers her education and continues her commitment to our country in the armed forces.”

The United States service academies offer a first-class education as well as a chance for young people to serve our country upon graduation as commissioned officers in the United States Armed Services.
