WATERTOWN, NY — Helen O. Anderson, 85, formerly of Watertown, and widow of Robert B. Anderson, passed away Monday Dec. 17, 2018, at the Carolinas Healthcare System Northeast in Concord, North Carolina.
Graveside services will be held in the spring of 2019 in Glenwood Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
She is survived by a son and a daughter, Peter Anderson, Watertown and Roberta (Donald) Desrosiers, Concord, NC; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Two brothers and a sister all died before her.
Helen was born March 4, 1933 in Buffalo, a daughter to Joseph and Rose Smolinski.
She married Robert B. Anderson on Aug. 22, 1953, in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Anderson, owner of Andersons TV in Watertown, passed away July 31, 1984.
Mrs. Anderson was the Chief Financial Officer at Fort Drum for many years retiring in 1993.
She moved to Concord, NC, in October 2018.
