THERESA, NY — Jackie M. Morrow, 60, of Schell Rd., passed away Sunday evening, June 3, 2018 at the home of her mother in Calcium, NY while under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
Born on November 14, 1957 in Alexandria Bay, NY, she was a daughter of Robert and Evelyn Zimmer Morrow. She graduated from Indian River Central School in 1975.
Jackie worked for Stone & Webster, Nine Mile Point 2, Scriba, NY for 8 years and then she worked for Oswego County Opportunities as a counselor for 16 years.
She loved music and playing the drums with various country bands and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Cooke, Calcium, NY; sister, Karen Morrow, Stuart, FL, sister, Chris Steiner, Pismo Beach, CA, brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Lisa Morrow, Watertown, NY, sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Billy Cooke, Visalia, CA, brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Nancy Morrow, Evans Mills, NY, brother, Tony Morrow, Theresa, NY; five step-siblings, Raeann Everett, Calcium, NY, Lynn and husband, Winfield “Butch” Kelsey, Farmington, NY, Mary and husband, Randy Davis, Philadelphia, NY, Cathy Pete, Canton, NY and Jung Jung, Sterling, VA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her father, her step-father, William “Bill” Cooke a brother-in-law, Bob Steiner and a step-brother, Harold VanBuren all died previously.
Calling hours will be 2-5 pm Friday, June 8, 2018 at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY. A Celebration of Life service will be at the Theresa Fire Hall immediately following calling hours.
