James N. Mosher, 66, LaFargeville

LAFARGEVILLE, NY — James N. Mosher, 66, of LaFarge Senior Housing Apartments, passed away, Monday, Feb. 18, 2019.

Born Feb. 20, 1952, in Watertown, NY, a son of Lewis Mosher, Sr. and Ruby Foster Mosher, he was a graduate of Watertown High School.

A marriage to Donna Eckert of LaFargeville, NY, ended in divorce.

James was a lifelong Professional Butcher and Meat Cutter at Fiorentino’s Watertown Meat, Watertown, NY.  He was also a milk hauler for Rutland Hills, for a time.

James was a member of the National Rifle Association, Police Benevolent Society, United Services Organization, National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association.

He enjoyed NASCAR, playing the drums with various country bands and hunting.

Survivors include a son, James M. Mosher and his companion, Kelli LaClair, Theresa, NY; a daughter, JoAnna Mosher, Bullhead City, AZ; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Lewis Mosher, Jr., Watertown, NY; nieces, nephews and cousins.

His parents and a brother, Richard “Dick” Mosher died previously.

There will be no calling hours or funeral, as requested by James.
