CALCIUM, NY — Kathleen Y. Cote, 89, Calcium, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, at Upstate Medical, Syracuse.
There are no calling hours scheduled. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in Sanford Corners Cemetery, Calcium.
Born April 12, 1929, in Watertown, a daughter of Eric Sr. and Arlene (Jones) Young, she was educated in the Watertown City School District and graduated from Watertown High School.
Kathleen worked as a secretary at Household Merit, Watertown, for many years.
She married Richard Joseph Cote on Sept. 17, 1954, in Watertown. Mr. Cote passed away in November 1994.
Surviving are her three children: Kevin Cote and companion Tammy Desnoyers of Florida, Mark and Laurie Cote of Calcium, Michael and Karen Cote of California; her grandchildren: Ashley, Brittany, Jessica, Katelyn, Wyatt; a great grandchild: Orion; and her sister: Beverly Perry.
Besides her husband, Richard, she is predeceased by a brother, Eric Young, Jr.
