FELTS MILLS, NY — Laura Jean Goodreault, 58, Felts Mills, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
The funeral will be 6 pm, Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Calling hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday prior to the funeral.
She is survived by her husband, John E., Felts Mills; four sisters Charlene (Mike) Eddy, Carol (Rusty) Church, Dora (David) Dorchester, all of Copenhagen and Shirley (Ben) Brown, Jacksonville, FL; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; her brother-in-law, Alton (Sue) Goodreault, Adams Center; her father-in-law Ed (Helen) Goodreault, Adams; several step brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was predeceased by a daughter Kimberly who died on Jan. 17, 1986.
Laura was born June 14, 1960, a daughter to Gerald and Gertrude Phelps Davis. She graduated from Carthage High School in 1979.
She married John Goodreault on Jan. 27, 1985.
Laura worked at the Carthage Area Hospital, Jreck Subs in Black River and the Wal-Mart in Evans Mills from 2006 to 2011.
Laura enjoyed baking, county and western music, her “Eeyore” stuffed animal and her pet dogs, Duke, Sandy, Little Man, Cutie and Sweet Pea.
