LOWVILLE, NY — Joshua D. Rogers, 32, of 3912 Shibley Road, Lyons Falls, was charged by Lewis County sheriff’s deputies at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at his home in the town of Lyonsdale with second-degree criminal contempt.
Deputies said they were assisting New York State Division of Parole with a routine home visit when Mr. Rogers was observed on the front porch of the residence in the company of the protected party in violation of a Lewis County Court order or protection.
“Subsequent to his arrest, Rogers’ conditional release was revoked by the NYS Parole and a warrant was issued for the violation of his parole conditions,” deputies wrote.
He was remanded to the Lewis County Jail to be held without bail pending a parole board hearing, deputies said.
