Man accused of violating order of protection after repeatedly spitting in woman’s face, police say

WATERTOWN, NYTyler D. Collins, 24, of 232 W. Main St., apt. 16, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:48 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at 20988 Salmon Run Mall Loop, town of Watertown, with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Collins is accused of violating the terms of an order of protection when he spit repeatedly in the face of the protected party, Lauriar S. Collins, 20, Watertown, during an argument at about 4:30 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at 232 W. Main St., according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court.
