Maggie's on the River Owners Announce Changes

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Letter from Maggie's on the River owners:

There have been some unflattering things written about Maggie's on the River recently in the media. We would like to take this opportunity to clear the air on what this means for us from now on:

We will strive to be a restaurant that serves a great meal at a great price. Our staff makes sure every customer has a positive experience by giving no less than 100%, every time. We offer a unique experience that is both local and personal, something that chain restaurants cannot offer. These essential values will always be at the heart of Maggie’s on the River. 

Yes, we admit there have been issues in the past with the late night crowd. We take full responsibility for everything that has happened, and we are taking this opportunity to make some necessary changes. 

As implemented on Jan 8th, Maggie's will be closing by 1:00am every night. In addition, we will no longer be promoting a “club” atmosphere on the 3rd floor. Instead, our 3rd floor will be reserved for special events such as weddings, receptions, or any large parties up to 150 people. 

We remain the place for friends and families to get a freshly prepared meal, a place for people to relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor, and ultimately, a place the community is proud to have. 

We greatly appreciate the ongoing support of our loyal customers. We remain open for lunch and dinner through this time.

Thank you for all who "Make it Maggie's" and rest assured we will be better than ever.
