ALBANY, N.Y., Feb. 23  —  "Will Barclay is doing the right thing in working to ensure that Independence Party voters throughout the 48th Senate District are able to exercise their full voting rights on the party line of their choice. 

"Darrel Aubertine's effort to completely disenfranchise thousands of Independence Party voters is a sad and disappointing example of partisan politics at its very worst. 

"It is even more disappointing and ironic because this is the same Darrel Aubertine who has sued and launched lawsuits in the past to get people knocked off of ballot lines.

"Independence Party voters don't like partisan politics at its worst, and we don't appreciate Darrel Aubertine's efforts to take away our rights at the voting booth."
