Doheny Congratulates Dede Scozzafava On Being Selected
As Republican Nominee in 23rd Congressional District
WATERTOWN, N.Y., July 22, 2009

“I congratulate Assemblywoman Scozzafava on receiving the nomination to be the Republican candidate for the 23rd Congressional district special election. It is important for the party and our communities across the district that we keep this Congressional seat in Republican hands. I plan on working hard for DeDe to do just
that.”
Matt Doheny, 39, grew up in Alexandria Bay and graduated from Alexandria Central School, Allegheny College and Cornell Law School. After graduating from law school Matt practiced law at several firms, including Hancock & Eastbrook in Syracuse.
For the last ten years he has worked in the financial industry helping and investing in large, troubled companies - turning them around so they could restructure, reinvest, save jobs and become profitable again.
