WATERTOWN, N.Y.
  —  A new campaign office has managed to be part of the many new establishments cropping up on Arsenal Street.

Assemblywoman Addie J. Russell, who represents New York’s 118th Assembly District, welcomed supporters to her new campaign headquarters at 1063 Arsenal St., adjacent to Burger King.

A reception was held from 5 to 7 p.m.

“We were looking around in the summertime,” Mark A. Pacilio, chief of staff for Mrs. Russell, said. “The landlord told us it would be rented in January, so it was available to us for a couple months.”

Mrs. Russell said the new headquarters wills serve as a multi-purpose office.

“We’ll be making phone calls, volunteers will do the mailings and people can stop by to pick up signs and literature.”

The office, according to Mr. Pacilio, will be staffed primarily with volunteers and one paid worker, 21-year-old Elizabeth C. Quencer, Mrs. Russell’s campaign coordinator who graduated from Syracuse University in May with a triple major.

Mr. Pacilio said the office will be open five days a week, “graduating” to seven days a week as the campaign season further develops.
