Department
of Health Levies Fines for Violations

WATERTOWN,
N.Y. —
The state Department of Health listed the following food
service violations and fines for October in documents first
obtained by Newzjunky.com.
Pine Tree Resort Spa, 70
Anthony St., Alexandria Bay,
paid a total of $400 in
fines.
Respondent: Mastr Enterprises, LLC
·
$200 - The septic
pump station between the 300 and 400 buildings had
improper fitting, sewage lines and holes in the sides
allowing untreated sewage to leak onto the shoreline
between the two buildings. The cover of the pump station
was not properly secured leaving open access to the
untreated sewage
·
$100 - The chlorine
residual in the outdoor swimming pool.
·
$100 - The chemical
feed pump for the pool was not operating. There was no
chlorine disinfectant being added in the pool.
