Minnie Russell

CARTHAGE, N.Y.  —  Minnie B. Russell, 92, formerly of Country View Apartments, Adams, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, at The Country Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carthage, where she has been a resident since 2009. 

Born Jan. 25, 1919, in Lake County, Ind., the daughter of Jess and Selinda Welch, she attended school in Knox, Indiana. 

She was self-employed and held many housekeeping jobs. 

She was a very caring person who loved taking care of and helping others.

Surviving are a son, Richard Wallace, Adams; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Her body will be cremated. 

A burial will be held privately by the family in the Black River Cemetery.
