CHAUMONT, N.Y.  —  Catherine Schubert, 63, of Three Mile Point South Road, died Sunday, Jan. 8, at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.  

Born Feb. 13, 1949, in Jersey City, N.J., the daughter of John and Elizabeth Brogan Boyle, she graduated from Union City, N.J. schools.  

She married Howard Schubert Jr. on May 27, 1967, at St. Michaels Monastery Church, Union City, N.J. 

Surviving are her husband, Howard, Chaumont; a daughter and her husband, Stacey and John Hunter, Chaumont; two sons, Howard Schubert III, Mesa, Ariz., and Michael Schubert, Watertown; two sisters, Alice Leukhardt, Redbank, NJ, and Ellen Dillon, Freehold, N.J.; two grandchildren, Amanda and John Jr. Hunter, Chaumont, and several nieces and nephews.   

A brother, Daniel Boyle, and a sister, Maureen Boyle, both died before her. 

Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Becker-Cleveland Funeral Home, Chaumont. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are with the Becker-Cleveland Funeral Home, Chaumont.
