Wayne A. A. Weber, 71, of Triangle Road died
Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Canton Potsdam Hospital.
Born May 15, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisc., the son of William
A. and Viola F. Boldt Weber, he graduated in 1958 from East
Troy High School in East Troy, Wisc.
Mr. Weber enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard and served from
1958 to 1962.
He married Dorothy Fitzgerald on June 3, 1961.
Mr. Weber was a fire safety inspector with Indian River
Nuclear Power Plant in Buchanon, NY for 33 years, retiring
in 1995.
He was a past president of the Orange County Peace Officers
Association, Exempt member of the Fort Montgomery Fire
Department, Town of Highlands Volunteer Ambulance Corp,
Depeyster Masonic Lodge, Past Master of West Point Lodge in
Highland Falls, Past Master of Mountainville Lodge,
Cornwall, Grand Steward of the State of New York, F &
AM, Past Patron of the John W. Likely Chap OES, DGL,
Orange-Rockland District OES and member of the John B. Lyman
American Legion Post 904, Alexandria Bay.
Surviving besides his wife of 50 years are four sons and
three daughters-in-law, Wayne, Jr. and Lisa, Jacksonville, Fla.,
Thomas, New Windsor, Eric and Deborah, Fort Montgomery and
Scott and Crystal, Fort Meyers, Fla.; a daughter, Tina
Clayborne, Newburgh; an “adopted” daughter and her
husband, Debbie and Kevin Armstrong, Theresa; seven
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol J.
Weber, Calif.; and a sister-in-law, Johanna Weber, Sun City,
Calif.
A brother, William A. died before him.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hammond
Presbyterian Church Chapel.
Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Inc.,
Theresa.
