Glenys W. Russell Jr.

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Glenys W. "Glen" Russell Jr., 80, formerly of Franklin Street, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 10, at Mercy of Northern New York. 

Born May 17, 1931, in Watertown, the son of Glenys W. and Elizabeth G. Fober Russell Sr., he graduated in 1950 from Watertown High School. 

Mr. Russell was employed by New York Air Brake for more than 40 years. 

He was a HAM radio operator since high school. He enjoyed photography especially wild life.

Mr. Russell was active in archery, fishing and deer hunting with his yearly trips to the Amish Country in Pennsylvania. 

Surviving are a brother, Richard Gene Russell, Alcoa, Tenn.; a sister Arlene (Russell) Krutsinger, Torrence, Calif.; and a step brother, Richard D. Tanner, Watertown. 

There are no calling hours of funeral. A graveside service will be in the spring at North Watertown Cemetery.
