TURIN, N.Y. —
Charles
Stasse “Chuck” Perkins II, 56, died at his home in
Reston, Va., on March 13. Chuck was formerly of Turin,
Alexandria Bay and Naples, Fla.
He was born July 24, 1955, in Wellsboro, Pa., a son of
Charles S. and Pauline Marshall Perkins, he graduated in
1973 from South Lewis Central School where he was a
member of the school ski team. He furthered his education
and ski racing at Canton ATC.
A member of the Episcopal Churches of Boonville and Port
Leyden, he served as an acolyte.
He worked for many years in the Turin and Alexandria Bay
areas and at other area restaurants moving to the Naples, Fla.,
area where he worked for the Marriott Corporation
transferring to Virginia in the 1990s.
Surviving are a son and his wife, C. Stasse and Katie (Englert)
Perkins III, Sackets Harbor; his father and step-mother,
Charles S. and Sharon (Gleason) Perkins, Lowville; his
grandmother, Catherine (Smith) Marshall, Waterville, Maine;
two sisters, Shirley E. Czajka Old Forge, and Katharine B.
Manning, Lowville; a niece, Scott and Jennifer (Czajka)
Palarmo, Old Forge; a nephew, Scott Czajka, Glenfield; a
nephew, Andrew J. Manning II, Lowville; and two
grandnephews.
Chuck was predeceased by a brother, Stephen M Perkins, in
2002, and his mother, Pauli, in 2009.
Services
will be in Maine at the Durgin Cemetery, West Forks, at the
convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hospice
Association or Humane Society of one’s choice.

Lowville.
