— Georgiana M. Lane, 64,
Arlington Apartments, died Tuesday, April 1, at her home.
A funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at
St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville, with Rev.
Christopher J. Looby, Parochial Vicar officiating. A
gathering at St. Peter’s Church Fellowship Hall will
follow the funeral Mass. Spring burial will be in the
Riverside Cemetery, Copenhagen. Calling hours will be from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Iseneker Funeral
Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville.
Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association,
155 Washington Ave., 210, Albany, N.Y.12210, or the American
Heart Association, 120 Lomond Court, Utica, N.Y. 13502.
Born March 18, 1944, in the town of Wilna, a daughter of the
late George W. and Anna Marie Neddo Rohde, she attended
Carthage Central School.
She married David H. Bray Sr., on Oct. 12, 1962, in Pulaski.
The marriage ended in divorce.
On Sept. 1, 1984, she married Bernard S. Lane at Trinity
Episcopal Church, Lowville, with Father Rasha officiating.
The marriage ended in separation.
Mrs. Lane was a
communicant of St. James Catholic Church, Carthage.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 162 Auxiliary,
a life member of Lewis County Memorial Post #6912 Auxiliary,
and a member of the Lowville Home Bureau.
She enjoyed painting crafts, and spending time with her
children and grandchildren. She also loved to play
cards
Surviving are three sons
and two daughters-in-law, David H. Bray Jr., Fla.; Michael
J. and Kimberly Bray, Denmark; and Allen T. and Teresa Bray,
Copenhagen; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Phyllis and
Merle Tiffany, Lowville; and Patricia A. Brasie, Carthage;
nine grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by a daughter, Julie Ann Sanchez, who
died Feb. 6, 1992; and a sister, Frances I. King.
