P. Bocciolatt, 88,
of 216 Wyoming Ave., passed away Sunday, April 14, at her
home under the care of her family, caregivers and Hospice of
Born Dec. 23, 1924, in Watertown, a daughter of Harold T.
and Frances Pepper O’Brien, she graduated in 1943 from
Watertown High School.
On April 2, 1948 she married Robert V. Bocciolatt at St.
Mary’s Church in Evans Mills, with Reverend J.K. Dewey
officiating. Mr. Bocciolatt died Dec. 31, 2005.
Mrs. Bocciolatt was a home maker; taking pride in her home,
family and the time they spent together. In the 1970s she
was a seamstress for Boys and Men’s Specialty Shop on
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Mrs. Bocciolatt was a long time member of Home Bureau.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, long rides with her husband in
the Adirondack Mountains and traveling.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter in-law, John
R., West Linn, Ore., Michael V. and Julie, Chaumont; a
daughter and her husband, Sarah A. and Lance Campbell,
Watertown; a brother and his wife, Timothy and Barbara
O’Brien, Watertown; a sister, M. Jane O’Brien, Watertown;
six grandchildren, Jay and Jon-Michael Passerino, TJ and
Kelly Bocciolatt, Morgan and Skyler Bocciolatt; several
nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, her
caregivers, Carolyn Pitkin, Celeste LaLonde, Chrissy
Banville and Jacqueline Sweitzer.
A sister, Ann F. Calarco, died before her.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday,
April 16, at D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A prayer
service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at
the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at
Holy Family Church with Reverend Stephen Murray officiating.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
