Sabina V. Gonzales

Sabina V. Gonzales, 100, Hobe Sound, Fla., and summer resident of Clayton, died Sunday, April 14, at Samaritan Summit Village in Watertown.

Calling hours will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 19, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton. The funeral mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Saturday April 20, at St. Mary's Church, Clayton, with Msgr. James Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Born in Kellogg, Minn., on May 26, 1912, a daughter of Louis N. and Ellen Tierney Thunnell, she graduated from high school in North Dakota. 

She married Francisco Gonzales in Minneapolis, Minn. He died in 1970.

Mrs. Gonzales was a housewife.

She was a communicant of both St. Mary's Church in Clayton and St. Christopher's Church in Hobe Sound, Fla.

Surviving are a son, Capt. John R. Gonzales, Hobe Sound, Fla., and Clayton; a grandson, John F. Gonzales, St. James, N.Y.; two great granddaughters, Katherine and Emma Gonzales, both in St. James, N.Y.; a niece, Patricia Jacobsen, St. Paul, Mnn.; and a nephew, Thomas Thunnell, Edina, Minn. 

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Yater and a brother, Leo Thunnell.
