LOWVILLE, N.Y. —
Jean M.
Dosztan, 84, of River Road, died Thursday afternoon, May 10,
at Lewis County Residential Healthcare Facility.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Iseneker
Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville. A graveside service will be
noon Friday, May 18, in Beaches Bridge Cemetery.
Born Dec. 10, 1927, in Lowville, a daughter of George and
Pauline Prame Carlston, she attended Lowville Academy.
She worked at J.J. Newbury, Watertown, before her marriage.
She married Andrew Albert Dosztan Jr. in Watson on April 7,
1945. He died April 23, 1991.
Mrs. Dosztan
was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting.
Surviving are a a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Patricia
Dosztan, Lowville; three sisters, Judy Adams, Lowville,
Rosalie and Gary Merry, Maryland, and Nancy and Doug Logan,
Arizona; two grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, a
great-grandson, 12 step-great-grandchildren, four
step-great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Two brothers, Zane and Alfred Carlston, and four sisters,
Sally Hanson, Beverly Marolf, and Bette and Rosemary
Carlston, all died before her.
