HARRISVILLE, N.Y.   —  Harry S. Hoyt Jr., 80, of Harris Courts, died Wednesday morning at Carthage Area Hospital where he had been a patient for a week.

Born Nov. 23, 1930, in Mount Kisco, the son of Harry S and Beatrice Davis Hoyt, he graduated from Yorktown Heights High School. He served in the Marines for four years. 

He worked at various jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by two sisters, Margery Acuna, Harrisville, and Jean Fitsimmons, Maypac, N.Y.

Three brothers, Donald, Irving and Raymond, all died before him.

There will no funeral or calling hours. His body was cremated. 

Arrangements are in care of the Adirondack Funeral Home, Harrisville.
