BLACK RIVER, N.Y.  — Linda L. Looker, 68, formerly of Kamargo Apartments, and widow of Leal J. Looker, passed away Friday evening, May 13, at Mercy of Northern New York, Watertown, where she had been a resident for a short time.  

Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family in Sanford Corners Cemetery, Calcium. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown.

Born April 25, 1943, in Watertown, a daughter to Ralph and Marion Tuttle Phelps, she graduated in 1961 from Indian River High School.  

She married Leal J. Looker on July 15, 1961. Mrs. Looker was a supervisor at Northland Electric in Watertown until 1985. Mr. Looker passed away June 29, 1997.

Mrs. Looker was a past president of the Kamargo Apts. Tenants Association.

Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Patricia and William Crowder, Theresa, Suzanne and Clair Raible, Black River; her grandchildren, Chelsea (Daniel) Clark, Dexter; Alysa Honeywell, Theresa; Joseph Raible, Black River; Ian Buker, Watertown; Hayden Crowder, Evans Mills; a brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Lucille Phelps, Fowler, N.Y.; a sister, Lorraine Knight, Hagerstown, Md.; nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Leal, she was predeceased by a son, Michael, two grandsons, and a sister, Eleanor Rose.
