Ronald Francis Bigness, “Buster Brown,” 77, of 43720 State Route 3, died Friday, May 25,
at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse where he had been a patient for a few weeks.
Born Jan. 27, 1935, in Lowville, the son of Leon and Marion Disotell
Bigness, he attended school in Natural Bridge.
He was a self-employed mechanic.
He married Carol Ann Foy on June 5, 1981m in Beaver Falls. She died before him.
He loved fishing, hunting, camping and tinkering with anything.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Barbara Carr, Watertown;
a daughter, Katherine Gural, Spring, Texas; four grandchildren, Joseph, Robert, Jessica, and Chelsea;
two grandsons, a grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, Natalie Strough, Josh and Gage
Carr; a half sister, Eleanor Martin; an aunt, Anna Farr;
several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Two sisters, Anna and Isabelle, died before him.
There will be no public calling hours.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, in Hillside Cemetery in Natural Bridge with
Rev. Linda J. Harris, officiating.
