LOWVILLE, N.Y.  —  Dennis Alexander Millard, 44, of Buchanan, Va., and formerly of Stewart Lane Road, Lowville, died Sunday morning, May 29, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Va., from injuries he received in a farm tractor accident. 

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 6, at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Water Road, Lowville, with a memorial service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bryan Catlin officiating. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery.

Dennis was a master of all trades, he was very mechanically inclined  with the talent of putting together “junk” and making it run. 

He enjoyed automobile racing, animals, gardening and flowers and making things grow, and living life to the fullest extent, and helping others in need.  

Surviving are his parents, Gerald “Jerry” and Charlotte Lyndaker Millard, Lowville; brothers and sister, Steven Millard, Gouverneur, Tracy (Eric) Jensen, Liverpool, Dean (Amy) Millard, Glenfield, George  (Shannon) Millard, Troutville, Va.; niece, Alicia (Andy) Hewitt; great-nephew, Dylan Hewitt; great-niece, Addie Grace Hewitt; and  numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Lawrence and Mary Louise Post Millard and Alex and Phyllis Edick Lyndaker, also, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the college fund of his great-niece and great-nephew, in care of their mother, Alicia Millard Hewitt, 4320 Candlelight Lane, Liverpool, NY 13090.
