EDWARDS, N.Y. — Regina
A. "Jean" Minckler, 75, of New Street, died
Thursday evening, June 21, at Carthage Area Hospital where
she was a patient for four days.
Born Jan. 31, 1937, in Ellenburg, a daughter of Roy and Raya
Mae Ashline Carter, she attended Ellenburg Central
School.
She married Charles Minckler on Dec. 19, 1953, at St.
Edmunds Catholic Church in Ellenburg.
Over the years, she was employed at Brassards IGA,
Buckingham’s IGA and Woods Family Grocery as a store clerk.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading.
Mrs. Minckler was an avid New York Yankees and Syracuse University
fan.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Besides her husband of Edwards, she is survived by two
daughters and their husbands, Debra and Rickey Bearor, and
Cathy and Alton Bishop, all of Harrisville; two sons, Allen,
Richville and Gary and his companion, Lynn Barnes, Hermon;
three siblings, Ross Carter, Plattsburgh, Dale Carter and
Grace Carter, Ellenburg; six grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Ray
Carter.
There will be no services for Regina.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adirondack Funeral
Home, Harrisville.
