Ryan J. Converse

WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Ryan Joseph Converse, 21, of 26273 Route 283, passed Friday, July 2, at the Samaritan Medical Center. Following his death, his organs were donated.

A funeral Mass will be said 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, with Rev. Richard Kennedy Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in North Watertown Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.

Born May 23, 1989, in Watertown, a son of Joseph L. and Vicki L. Brouse Converse, he attended Watertown High School. During high school, he played varsity football, basketball, and gymnastics.

Ryan worked for his parents, as a manager, of the Converse Self Storage Co. in Watertown.

He enjoyed playing basketball, football, hanging out with his many friends. He was also an avid Facebook user with many followers.

Among his survivors are his parents, Joseph J. and Vicki L. Converse; a brother, Eric Converse; a nephew, Aiden Converse; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Marion Brouse; paternal grandparent, John and Jeanne Converse, all of Watertown; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
