Charlotte Booth DeLair, 70, died Friday, July 8,
at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
Born Aug. 13, 1941, Theresa, the daughter of Richard C. and
Evalena Ellis Booth, she attended Carthage Central School
and graduated from Lepontos School of Cosmetology.
She married Ronald DeLair Sr. on Oct. 26, 1966, in
Baltimore, Md.
Charlotte was a self-employed beautician and worked out of
Charmettes Salon on Arsenal Street in Watertown.
She loved writing poems, songs and playing bingo.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter and her
husband, Trudy and Joseph Black, Watertown; two sons and
their wives, Ronald Jr. and Dorothy DeLair, Calcium, and
Todd and Dawn DeLair, Watertown; four grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Nineteen brothers and sisters died before her.
Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes
Association, Lomond Office Park, 110 Lomond Court, Utica,
NY 13502.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of
the family. Her body will be cremated.
