Alan
Kirch, 54, of Redfield, and formerly of Croghan, died
Wednesday evening, July 18, at Oswego Hospital.
A graveside service will
be at the convenience of the family in First Mennonite
Cemetery, New Bremen.
Born Oct. 19, 1957, in Lowville, a son of the late Robert
Michael Kirch and Adeline Widrick Kirch Zehr, he graduated
in 1975 from Beaver River Central School.
Mr. Kirch worked for Top Gas in Lowville as manager, and was
transferred to other locations throughout the Northeast for
the company. He worked for Lowville Mason Supply for several
years before working for Specialty Paperboard in Beaver
Falls until his retirement due to health reasons.
Mr. Kirch moved to Redfield in 2006.
He
enjoyed reading, the computer, and watching sports.
Surviving are eight siblings and their spouses, Katherine
and Danny Donovan of Homosassa, Fla., Lynn and Larry
Dobransky, Herrings, John and Bonnie Kirch, New Bremen, Bob
Jr. and Candy Kirch, Croghan, Diane and Jeff Lewis, Redfield,
Cheryl and Kip Hilton, Pulaski, Nancy and Chuck Woodard,
Lowville, and Marcia and John Howard, LaPlata, Md.; aunts,
uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents.
