Joseph M. Shinnick Jr.

LOWVILLE, N.Y.  —  Joseph M. Shinnick Jr., 2 ½ month old son of Kristi Lyndaker and Joseph M. Shinnick Sr., of Rural Avenue, died Tuesday morning at his home.   

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, with Rev. Christopher J. Looby, Parochial Vicar of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville, officiating.  Calling hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lowville Rural Cemetery. 

Joseph was born May 9, 2008, at the Lewis County General Hospital. 

He is survived by his parents, Kristi Lyndaker and Joseph M. Shinnick Sr.; two sisters, Keerie Lyndaker and Zoe Shinnick, at home; maternal grandparents, Lisa Fenton, Croghan; Kenneth Fenton of Glenfield; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Betsy Shinnick, Lowville; maternal great-grandparents, William and Dee Tuttle, Lowville; Carl and Audrey Fenton, Glenfield; paternal great-grandfathers, George Ashcraft, Carthage, and William T. Shinnick, Fulton; maternal great-great-grandmother, Helen Hickok, Lowville; an aunt, Erica Fenton; and two uncles, Kyle Fenton and Thomas Shinnick Jr.

He was predeceased by his paternal great-grandmothers, Dora Ashcraft and Louise Shinnick.
