Ralph
P. Turck, 73, of State Route 812, died Tuesday morning, July
24, at the Lewis County General Hospital.
A funeral service will be
held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Iseneker Funeral Home,
Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, with Rev. Nathan Zehr,
officiating. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home.
Born Aug. 19, 1938, in the town of New Bremen, a son of the
late Chester and Pearl Lomber Turck, he attended local
schools, and served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until
1960.
He married Elaine L. Yousey on Feb. 14, 1969, at St.
Stephen’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Anthony Moore
officiating.
Mr. Turck was employed as a welder for the former Carthage
Machine Company, retiring in February 1998 due to health
reasons.
Mr. Turck was an avid NASCAR
and New York Yankees fan.
Survivinf are his wife of over 43 years, Elaine; a daughter,
Nicole; his granddaughter, Abigail; Nicole’s fiancé, Bill
Schuler, and his children, Nathan, Tyler, Keira and Logan;
his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Richard Turck of
Lowville; Mary Ann and Gerald Ritz of Croghan; Rose Marie
Bruce of Croghan; James and Tammy Turck of Carthage; several
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr.Turck was predeceased by a daughter, Therese, who died in
infancy; five brothers, Edward, Bernard, Robert, Donald and
Arthur Turck.
