David J.
Dicob Sr., 67, formerly of 6056 Salisburg Road, passed away
Monday afternoon, July 25, at Lewis County Residential
Healthcare Facility.
A private
funeral service will be held at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc.,
Lowville. Burial will be in Beaches Bridge Cemetery.
Born July 2, 1944, in Lowville, a son of the late Raymond
and Aretha Peak Dicob, he attended Beaver River Central
School, and served in the U.S. Army.
He married Charlotte Hawk on July 31, 1965, in Watson. The
marriage later ended in divorce.
David worked as a custodian at the telephone company in
Boonville, and at AMF in Lowville prior to working at
Lowville Academy and Central School as a custodian until his
retirement in 1985.
Mr. Dicob
loved to hunt and to ride motorcycle.
Surviving are three children and their spouses, Wendy and
Gerald Fenton, Lowville, David, Jr., and Donna Dicob,
Glenfield, and Vicky Hawk, Arlington, Va.; two brothers and
a sister-in-law, Ronald and Linda Dicob, Martinsburg, and
Donald and Diane Dicob, Dolgeville; a sister and her
husband, Theresa and George Getman, Denmark; four
grandchildren, Zayne, Hunter, Jonathan, and Joshua; nieces,
nephews and cousins.
