Helen Rusho

CLAYTON, N.Y.  —  Helen MacDonald Parker Rusho, 76, of Route 12, died Wednesday, July 27, at United Helpers Nursing Home in Ogdensburg where she resided since March. 

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at T.R. Jetty Funeral Home Clayton with Pastor Donald Briant officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Cemetery in Clay. There will be no calling hours.

Born Jan. 23, 1935, in the town of Orleans, the daughter of Clifford and Mary Shipman MacDonald, she graduated from Clayton High School. 

She married George Parker March 26, 1955, in Clayton. Mr. Parker died Nov. 21, 1973. On Feb. 16, 1999, she married Milton Rusho in Sanford, Fla. 

Helen retired from the Postal Service in 1992 after 27 years. 

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters and their husbands Debbie and Tim DeLeo of Rochester and Sandy and John Baker of Georgia, one son Greg and wife Heather Parker of Central Square, three stepdaughters, grand children and great-grandchildren, two sisters Joan Slate of Clayton and Hilda and Allen Jackson of Clayton, one brother John and his wife Bonnie of LaFargeville, nieces and nephews. 

Two sisters, Dorothy Reff and Doris Jackson, and a brother, Clifford MacDonald Jr., died before her.
