— Antoinette A. Casler, of Clayton, passed away Monday evening, July
30, at the home of her daughter, Michele Finley, Clayton.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton. The funeral Mass will be
said 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at St. Mary's Church, Clayton, with Rev. Arthur
LaBaff, pastor, assisted by Rev. Donald A. Robinson, pastor of St. Anthony's
Church. Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.
Born May 31, 1926, in Watertown, a daughter of James and Mary Cifra
Coppola, she graduated in 1944 from Watertown High School.
She married Kenneth M. Casler on Sept. 22, 1945, at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Watertown, with Rev. Claude A. Sechi officiating. Mr. Casler died

With her husband, who served in the U.S. Army for 25 years, Ann lived throughout the world.
In 1970, the couple moved to Waddington and returned to Watertown in 1990. The couple then moved to Clayton in 2003.
Mrs. Casler was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, collecting Hummels, drawing, nature, and especially family reunions.
She attended both St. Mary's Church, Clayton and St. Anthony's Church, Watertown and was a member of its Altar & Rosary Society.
Mrs. Casler was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Fulton Chapter 515, Daughters of the Nile, and the Italian-American American Civic Association Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Kenneth J. and Sheila Casler,
Saranac Lake; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Christine L. Casler, Watertown, Therese A.
and Peter Lesser, Saratoga Springs, and Michelle K. and
Richard Finley, Clayton; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Sarah Varno and husband, Wilfred, Mary Jane Guthrie, and Marsha A. Coppola, all of Watertown, Brenda J. Kirwan and husband, John of Massachusetts, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her husband, Kenneth, and daughter, Mary Kendra Liles, she was also predeceased by her four brothers, Mariano S., Ettore R., James F. and Joseph R. Coppola.
