ROCKWALL, TEXAS  —  Shirley Anne Schrock, 85, formerly of Brantingham, died Saturday, Aug. 13, in Rockwall, Texas, with her family by her side.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Sundquist Funeral Home with her nephew Rev. Willard Schrock, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Brantingham Cemetery. 

Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home.

She was born Oct. 3, 1925, in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Clarence F. and Della D. Moore Miller. 

Shirley married Roman W. Schrock on May 21, 1949, in Buffalo. They moved to Brantingham in 1985 and resided on the Partridgeville Road. Mr. Schrock died Dec. 14, 1990.

Shirley's hobbies and interests included raising her four daughters, her dog Annie, reading and riding her all-terrain-vehicle. 

Shirley is survived by her daughters and one son-in-law, Karen and David Clarke, Brevard, N.C.; Lori Conklin, Rowlett, Texas; Debra Meyers of Garland, Texas; Donna Burr, Alden; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a sister, Arline Strauss, Holland, NY.
