— Alfred R. Servati, 76, of Ft. Myers,
Fla., and a summer resident of Cape Vincent, died Wednesday,
Aug. 24, in Watertown.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, Sept. 10, at White Haven Memorial Chapel, 210 Marsh Rd., Pittsford,
with his brother, Richard, officiating.
Arrangements are with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton.
Born Dec. 24, 1934, in Danora, Pa., the son of Al and Carrie Prosser
Servati, he graduated from Edison Tech, Rochester, and Rochester Institute of Technology.
Alfred served in the Korean War in the Army.
His first wife, Nancy Hopkins, died in the early 1980s. In 1983 he married Mary Ann
DingFelder.
Mr. Servati retired from Eastman Kodak Co. in 1991 as a project engineer.
He was a member of Royal Palm Yacht Club, NBS Boating, Clayton Yacht Club, Elks Club, American Legion, and Irondequoit Bay Fish and Game Club.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and eating out in restaurants.
Besides his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by two sons, Alfred E. and Cindy
Servati, Minn., and James and Elizabeth Ferraro, San Diego,
Calif.; two daughters, Cindy and Timothy Hayden, Rochester, and Kelly Ann
and Richard Barcelos, San Diego, Calif.; nine grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and Nancy
Servati, Okla., and Griffith Shelly and Bonnie, Middlesex; a
sister, Mary Begey, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A son, Mark Servati, and a brother, Bill Servati, died before him.
