LOWVILLE, N.Y. —
Mildred R. Russell, 58, passed away Monday, Aug. 29, at
Lewis County General Hospital.
Born Nov. 24, 1952, in Utica, a daughter of the late James
A. Russell, Sr. and Leila M. Devine Russell, she graduated
from Lowville Academy and Central School.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her
family and friends.
She also raised and cared for her parrots.
Surviving are a son, Dominick C. Russell and his finance,
Melissa Randall, Lowville; her brothers: James A., Port
Leyden, Edward M., Enfield, Conn., Jay W. and George H.
Russell, both of Lowville; four sisters, Joyce Cabral,
Utica, Olive Champigney, Enfield, Conn., Rosalind Delles,
Lowville, and Joan Lawson, Enfield, Conn.; several nieces
and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be said 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at St.
Peter’s Catholic Church with Rev. Christopher Carrara,
pastor officiating. Burial will follow at the Lowville Rural
Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday,
Sept. 1, at Sundquist Funeral Home.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Kwickliss, all the nurses in
the ICU and both the third floor nursing home staff and east
wing staff for their care and help of their mother and
sister.
