WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Leta I. Schneider, 82, of William Street, passed away Friday evening at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been a resident.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, in Redwood Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Theresa, a daughter of Ally and Nettie Buker Calhoun. 

She was married to Roland Combs and Raymond Schneider. Both predeceased her.

Leta was employed at Parkview Cleaners, Gibson Laundry, the Black Clawson and Brownville Paper mills.

Surviving are three sons, Larry, Keith and Milton Combs, all of Watertown; a daughter, Darlene Delosh, Watertown; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a great great-grandson; a sister Rita (Ernest) Duval, Watertown; many nieces and nephews. 

Three sisters, Thelma Halpin, Pauline and Corrine Calhoun, and a brother, Leroy Calhoun, died before her.
