Kenneth W. Wilson

CARTHAGE, N.Y.  —  Kenneth W. Wilson, 65, of 36100 Jackson II Road, died late Tuesday evening at Carthage Area Hospital where he had been a patient for several days.

Born June 25, 1942, in Belleville, son of Warren and Orrissa Berry Wilson, he attended Belleville schools.  After the death of his father when he was very young, his mother married his step-father, Ronald Sprague.    

He worked in area farms and worked for the village of Carthage.  

A previous marriage on Aug. 30, 1969, to Luella B. Cronk ended in divorce.  He married Paulette Wormwood Sadler on July 6, 1996. 

 
Mr. Wilson enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling.


Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy E. Heffley, Carthage, and Orrisa M. Stacy, Watertown; step-children, Ester Sadler, Chaumont, Jody Sheltray, Carthage, Charles Sadler, Texas, and Joline Sadler, Denmark; his brothers, Donald Wilson, Champion, and Raymond Sprague, Boonville; five sisters, Nellie Williams, Adams, Rosie Sheldon,Copenhagen, Donna Hobbs, Mannsville, Delta Kampnich, Castorland, and Maryann Monica, Evans Mills; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A son, Kenneth B. Wilson, and a sister, Mrs. Wayna Baltz, died before him.

Calling hours will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Bossuot-Lundy Funeral Home in Copenhagen.   A graveside service will follow at the Honeyville–Adams State Road Cemetery in Adams Center.
