CLAYTON, N.Y. — Laurie Ann Maust, 45, of 16190 County
Route 181, passed Tuesday, Sept. 13, at her home.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown, with Rev. Donald Robinson,
pastor of St. Patrick‘s Church, officiating. Burial will follow in
Clayton Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the funeral home.
Born Sept. 2, 1966, in Watertown, a daughter of James H. and Gloria J. Sampson Dobson, she graduated
in 1985 from Indian River High School. She later received her associated degree from Jefferson Community College.
Laurie worked for several local businesses through out the area including, Wisner, Saunders and Scanlon Law Firm, for the Jefferson County Family
Court as a court clerk and as a court stenographer, Conboy Law Firm, and for Fort Drum as an aviation production control clerk from 2001
to 2010.
She married Daniel Maust on Oct. 7, 2010, in Carthage. The couple then moved to Clayton. Dan works as Fort Drum as a director of logistics for aviation maintenance.
She enjoyed knitting, traveling, and spending time with her children and watching her daughter play sports.
Among her survivors are her husband, Daniel R. Maust, Clayton; a daughter, Jessica L. Dobson-Tufo; two sons, James P.
Bruce andJacob P. Bruce; a step son, Joshua R. Maust, Clayton; a stepdaughter and her husband, Amber and Greg Nissen, Jacksonville,
Fla.; her mother, Gloria J. Dobson, Theresa; three brothers and their wives, Richard C. and Polly A. Dobson, Theresa, Rodney J. and Diana E. Dobson, Watertown, Randy T. and Sherry L. Dobson, Philadelphia; two sisters and brother-in-law, Melinda S. and Patrick M. Olin, Watertown,
and Catherine M. Dobson, Theresa; several nieces and nephews.
Her father, James H. Dobson, died in 1997.
