Melton P. Cook

THERESA, N.Y.  —  Melton P. “Skip” Cook, 57, of Main Street died Thursday, Sept. 15, at Kingston Hospital, Kingston, N.Y. 

Born Sept. 10, 1954, in Alexandria Bay, a son of Chester T. and Viola M. Countryman Cook, he attended Indian River High School, Philadelphia. 

He enjoyed visiting with friends. 

Survivors include seven brothers and two sisters-in-law, Noel and Barbara, Robert and Fred, all of Antwerp, David, George and Ronald, all of Theresa, and Joseph and Ann, S.C.; three sisters, Mary Cook and her companion, Todd Robbins, and Jane Reynolds, all of Theresa, and Myrtle Cook, and her companion, Dave Brown, Gouverneur; nieces and nephews. 

Two brothers, Melvin G. and James, died before him. 

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 pm Thursday, Sept. 22, at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Inc., Theresa.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
