Jack Pickert

ALEXANDRIA BAY, N.Y.  — 
Jack Pickert, 82, of Dingman Point Road, died Monday at Claxton-Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg.  

Born Jan. 3, 1929, in Watertown, the son of Harry and Mildred Wilson Pickert, he graduated from Alexandria Bay High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was a technician for Frink Snow Plows in Clayton.
 

Jack married Regina Pledger on Oct. 15, 1955, in Clayton. She died Sept. 8, 1996.
 

He was a member of the Alexandria Bay American Legion, 

Mr. Pickert was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his camp on the St. Lawrence River.
 

Surviving are a son, Glen, Alexandria Bay; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Peggy) Coleman, Hot Springs, Arkansas; two grandsons and two great-granddaughters. 

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Barnes Settlement Cemetery.
