WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Betty Jane "BJ" Miles, 63, of 218 Stone St., passed away Tuesday morning, Sept. 20, at Mercy of Northern New York where she had been a resident.

Born Jan. 25, 1948, in Watertown, the daughter of Keneth and Melissa Davis Miles, she was educated in local schools.  

She enjoyed puzzles, birds, people, and collecting Betty Boop memorabilia.

Surviving are her mother, Melissa, two sisters, Patricia (Michael) Vrooman, Watertown, Devota (Leon) Podvin, Dexter; a brother, Richard (Linda) Miles, Henderson; several nieces and nephews. 

Her father, Keneth, and a brother, Bernard, both died before her.

There are no calling hours. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Rev. Walt Giles officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
